Cheng started playing golf at age 8. Her hobbies include cooking and watching TV. She won a silver medal in the girls’ individual event at the 2014 Summer Youth Olympics in Nanjing, China, and represented Taiwan at the 2014 Asian Games in Incheon, South Korea.
