Shin, 5’4”, started playing golf at the age of 9, she was born in South Korea and moved to America to help her budding career. It didn't take her long to make a mark in the States. She credits her parents as the people who most influenced her career. Her hobbies outside of golf include reading, word searches, listening to music and shopping.
